Dr. Pierre Bennett, pastor of God’s Luv International Ministries Church in Virginia, began his lifelong walk with God as a young boy, while watching his mother perform in the church choir. Like most powerful evangelists, Dr. Pierre Bennett’s life was filled with some ups and downs, all of which contributed toward making him the person that he is today. He grew up with no idea of the greater plan God had for his life.

According to Dr. Pierre Bennett, founder of God’s Luv International Ministries Church, God’s people are created to give and to get. It’s a spiritual and universal law. Dr. Pierre Bennett says that you get what you give, and even when you give someone 100 percent love and they do not reciprocate, that love will come back to you from somewhere else. Dr. Pierre Bennett tells his congregation that what you get back is more than what you put out.
So the question is, knowing that it is impossible to put out love without getting back even more, says Dr. Pierre Bennett, why do people fight against offering all of their love to God? The key to abundance is His Holy loving Spirit. The more you give of yourself, the more you get back of Him, explains Dr. Pierre Bennett. In fact, suggests Dr. Pierre Bennett, those people holding back love from God are really holding it back from themselves.
God’s Word tells us that love is one of the fruits of the Spirit, says Dr. Pierre Bennett, and that is why people are happy around the Christmas time. Most people don’t care what their problems were for the previous year, because around the holidays they are at peace. Dr. Pierre Bennett says that during the Christmas season, people feel as though nothing can touch them because they are floating in and out of the Spirit of pure love. Why is it, asks Dr. Pierre Bennett, that we can’t live like this all the time? He says we can, if we live off the fruit of the Spirit.
Dr. Pierre Bennett reminds: “…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” Galatians 5:22
Most people are afraid of the idea of longsuffering, notes Dr. Pierre Bennett, when really all that God requires is for us to learn the lessons that only He can teach by allowing us to experience life’s trials. Attaining the perfection of love that comes with maturity requires endurance. . Dr. Pierre Bennett says that is why some people never get to the perfection of love. They just don’t want to endure the suffering that is necessary in order to attain everlasting love.
